PIX and Teradek have announced a partnership to provide camera-to-cloud and live video workflows to streaming and theatrical productions.

PIX collaboration workflows bridge feature film, streaming and broadcast television from production origination to post-production, providing the highest quality, most trusted solutions for collaborative review for executives, filmmakers, and content creators. PIX replaces friction with flow.

“PIX and Teradek are industry standards,” said Marc Dando, Chief Design Officer for PIX and CODEX. “Integrating these technologies will provide our users with additional workflow opportunities.”

The partnership integrates the Teradek Serv 4K, Serv Micro, and Prism Flex, which capture color-accurate H.264/H.265 proxy files that upload directly to PIX for immediate review and comment. All notes, media and metadata are synchronized and securely shared beyond the set, whether editorial or post or to a key decision-maker halfway around the world.

“Teradek is the leader in on-set encoding and cloud streaming,” added Colin McDonald, Product Manager for Teradek Cine. “We are excited to partner with PIX, enabling camera-to-cloud workflows to their established user base.”

Teradek designs and manufactures high-performance award-winning video solutions for cinema and broadcast. From wireless monitoring and color correction to lens control, Teradek technology is used around the world by professionals and enthusiasts alike to capture and share compelling content.
